We are certified by the NHSTA to manufacture street legal golf carts (LSVs). We can assign VIN numbers and a manufacturer’s certificates of origin that will allow you to register your golf cart with the Department of Transportation.

WHAT MAKES A CART Street Legal ?

In order to be considered street legal Low Speed Vehicle (LSV), your golf cart must be capable of going faster than 20 miles per hour but slower than 25 miles per hour.

In addition to the speed requirements, your golf cart must also include all of the following equipment:

• Headlights and Taillights with turn signals, brake lights, and horn
• Seat belts
• License plate light
• DOT Approved Windshield and wiper
• DOT Approved tires
• Side mount mirrors
• 17 Digit VIN number
• Rear View Camera
• Reflectors

To operate your golf cart legally, you must have an up-to-date license and be able to prove insurance coverage.
